Baby Anabel-Lil Miss March

Well it was a delight to see yet another baby. Baby Anabel was born to Marco and Rena in March of 2010. She is absolutely adorable. Rena-it sure was great to photograph your pregnancy pictures and then see the outcome of such a gorgeous baby girl. You are such a wonderful friend and I know you are going to make an amazing mother. Motherhood comes easy after the first couple of weeks, just hold on....and enjoy the ride. Marco, congratulations! You two-I wish you joy and happiness. Welcome to the world-Anabel!

12 Years Later....

Lily and Dave, it's been so wonderful getting to know you two as a couple. We have grown to be wonderful friends. I thank you for trusting me to capture this beautiful day. I pray that God continues to bless the two of you with happiness and joy as he has for these 12 years. Congratulations on a beautiful day of renewing your vows. It was very prescious and I'm grateful to have been a part and even more grateful to have captured your special day. God is so wonderful, I will never forget how He brought a rainbow during your wedding as a Promise to the both of you-what a beautiful gift from God on your day! Be blessed my friends!

Maldonado Baby Arrived!

My cousin and his beautiful wife had a gorgeous baby boy. Emiliano Maldonado was born into this world! I'm so happy that everything turned out well and the baby is here-I love healthy babies and healthy stories. Just want to congratulate you both. It was great photographing your beautiful new boy. Junior it was wonderful seeing you interact as a dad. I love getting a glimpse of these special moments. Congrats! I love you both! And the new baby of course!

My Family in Comfort

My lovely family continue to be my daily subjects. I love to photograph moments at home. I see opportunities of lifetime memories daily in the face of my husband and my son. If I had enough archive space I would probably photograph every second of my day with them in hopes that I don't forget the special moments that we share daily. But the truth is-as a photographer you have to learn a difficult rule...when to put the camera down. There are moments where I have to make a choice to just embrace the moment without capturing it...as a photographer, that's tough! But sometimes, like these moments, I see opportunity that can't be missed. I love photographing my family-they inspire the photographer in me.

Fun in SLO with Dave and Lily

Boy was this photo shoot fun! First of all, it's always a blast to be in SLO (San Luis Obispo). Great photography spots such as the Creek, beaches, the Mission, downtown shops and vibe. Then what fun it was to photograph my friends. It took them a while to finally get used to so much picture taking. But after about 2 hours of it-they finally warmed up! Boy was it a long photo session-changes, locations etc. But in the end, great portraits. I was not attracted to the mission at first util I saw the side fenced area with a cement long walk way that ended up being such an attractive place for portraits. You would never guess from these portraits how much goofing around there really was in between shots with this couple...lol...and how much making out! I think they forgot I was there half the time :-). It's part of the process of taking portraits of people who are in love. Plus this is what I love, photographing people and getting them to feel so comfortable that they are just themselves-those make for the best portraits. And they sure did! I await the renewing of the vowels of my friends. Congratulations Dave and Lily for 12 wonderful years of marriage together. May the Lord sustain you both for many years to come!

Baby Damian

Baby Damian was super easy! He's so adorable! I can't believe that he is only 3 months in these portraits. He has features of a 6 month old. I really enjoyed photographing Baby Damian and his parents.

Rena's Pregnancy

Rena is a friend from high school...I had the privilege of photographing some pictures for her engagement with Marco and then was contacted by her to do a photo shoot for her upcoming baby! I suggested she take pregnancy pictures as well and am delighted that she did! She is absolutely stunning pregnant with the natural pregnant glow. The baby is due in late March and they will be having a baby girl! How cute and so much fun! WEll congratulations Rena and Marco on your pregnancy with your baby girl! I look forward to photographing her when she is born! You guys looked amazing in these portraits! There are so many good ones.

Mr. & Mrs. Sal Monarrez!

Congratulations Sal and Veronica on a very exquisite wedding celebration! Beautiful decor-love the driving into the hall in a limo and walking out onto the red carpet thing-classic! Sal and Veronica, hope your life together is as beautiful and grand as the wonderful wedding event. I hope that you will always continue to cherish each other. Veronica's Bridal Shower

So at last I got to meet Veronica! She is marrying a friend of mine that I grew up with. I met Veronica for the first time when I showed up at their home to photograph this bridal party. Veronica-it was great meeting you...you are a wonderful and caring person and it does not take a long time before someone who meets you can figure that out. I absolutely love the colorful and spunky nails so I had to show them here :-). It was so good to see all of the Monarrez's there are the party. What a fun party-all the people there were really lovely and I'm glad I got to be a part of this event. Congratulations on the wedding!

Abigail's Polka Dot Party!!!!

Abigail turned 3 and had a wonderful Polka Dot Party! It was a lot of fun with everyone in Polka Dots...I even wore my Polka Dot black and white shirt myself! I've got to say Veronica...the socks were great! So it was a lot of fun-very colorful-a lot of bounce houses and blow up slides...tell you what-it's definitely a great place for parties (Pump It Up). Well Happy Birthday Abigail-I know you'll forever cherish the pictures of Daddy praying over you on your birthday! Hope every year is just as fun and just as blessed.

Pete & Darlene

Darlene & Pete are a wonderful couple. I am fortunate to photograph this couple, but even more fortunate to meet them. It was a beautiful time photographing your engagement portraits along with your little boy. I really look forward to the wedding May 2010. Baby Lailene is Born!

Congratulations Candy to a beautiful baby girl! Lailene Amabelle Reynoso was born on June 10,2009. She is beautiful and has perfect skin. I was very honored to photograph Candy and her new baby daughter. I know motherhood will bring you great happiness Candy. Again Congratulations and I look forward to photographing Lailene in the future.

A Fairytale Couple

From the storybook princess hair to the nice suit-Beau and Heather had it all. This wedding was a delight-magical, detailed and a lot of fun. Beau and Heather have been a couple since high school and have now formed a union together before all. Their wedding took place April 4th and it was a lovely celebration.
The moment I met Heather I knew she was those type of girls that just grew up dreaming about their wedding day. Heather and Beau arrived at our meeting place and Heather was so ready, so prepared with her Wedding Planner Guide and her notes. I admired the enthusiasm that was gleaming through her eyes. She was determined to have a wonderful wedding and there was going to be NOTHING stopping that! Beau on the other hand played a "perfect husband to be" role...calm, cool and collective. He was going to do anything to make his bride happy...what a great guy, I can tell he's going to make a fabulous husband.
So in all this, Heather got her dream wedding and Beau got his dream girl! Now the two are happily married as Mr. and Mrs. Bishop! Congratulations Heather and Beau-you two are fabulous people. I could tell by the way you treated all your guest that you are people that deserve great things in life. I wish you the best...and thank you for allowing me and trusting me to photograph such a beautiful and important day!

Tami's Senior Pictures

Well it's amazing how time fly's. I can't believe that Tami is already a Senior. Karissa and I were discussing Senior pictures for Tami and I'm thinking you know sometime next year or so, not knowing she graduates in month or so. I was somehow thinking that I just got out of high school just a couple of years ago (like two or three) but when I took account, I realized I have been out of high school for 7 years!!! Pretty insane how time flies. Well Tami looked amazing in all her pictures. I loved how her photo shoot turned out because we did so many shots with so many outfits and it was quite fun. She's got so many great characteristics and we just had to portray them in the portraits. We chose to incorporate two of her passions in life as well which are dance and church. It was fun and Tami looked amazing. Congratulations Tami on your upcoming graduation at the WONDERFUL South High!!!

Adrianna's Pregnancy

Well, Adrianna has been my hairdresser for a long time. Probably one of the only people who would be able to put up with my type of hair and my constant hair changes. Adrianna looked so beautiful. I had the honors of meeting Jose for the first time and Jose is a super wonderful guy who I can tell is going to be a WONDERFUL Father. Congratulations to the both of them. I do have to mention that the baby's room is gorgeous and that the little theater thing that Jose built around the baby's TV was absolutely adorable-along with the baby's chandelier that had pink crystals falling from it-WAY CUTE! Well Adrianna it was such a pleasure taking your pregnancy portraits, I hope and pray that you will forever cherish them. Thank you again.

The 3 Gorgeous Zetino Boys

So I received the privilege of photographing my beautiful nephews once again. Gosh they are getting so big. JJ-so strong in stature and so fun and "cool." Then there's Nathan who has gotten so big, so fast (the kid is 7 months for gosh sakes!)-with those amazing eyes. My mother in law left today to El Salvador and wanted a picture of all her grand kids in one photo so that she can show them off to all the friends and family in El Salvador. Karissa also wanted to take the boys' Easter pictures-so we simply took care of it all at once. The boys looked adorable in their matching outfits. We definitely needed quite a bit of help-thanks to Karissa's grandma and my wonderful husband who only had 3 hours of sleep in order to help me-we got the job done. And thanks to Karissa of course for being such a trooper and taking the boys out there despite of a recent surgery. During the photo shoot I sat the poor kids right in a pile of ants (I will forever learn to make sure there are no critters around before I sit kids in the grass/you'd think that was a "no brainer" right?)-my son being the one that got bit the most took it like a trooper-they all did actually. I'm sorry my babies...tia/mami is sorry :-). But in the end...here they are, the three GORGEOUS ZETINO BOYS.

The Couple I Will Forever Call My Friends

On February 28, 2009, I received the privilege of photographing a beautiful couple. The moment I introduced myself to this couple I felt as if I already knew them. Nicole and Allen are a very special couple who happened to meet in the Corrections academy and have a BEAUTIFUL baby girl who Allen says is "so cute because she's mixed (inter-racial);" and I totally agree-she's beautiful. Photographing Nicole and Allen along with their pleasant families was like photographing my own family. The details, the ceremony, the reception was just phenomenal. I also must applaud the wonderful maid of honor who I believe did a fabulous job of keeping things in order (hurray!). It was really hard to keep my composure through the very beautiful and emotional speech of the father of the bride. It was a very memorable wedding that I will never forget. I still continue to brag on how amazing it was seeing the bride sing with the mariachi, along with the maid of honor and the matron of honor whom also sang in the same mariachi group. And how Nicole knew that I enjoyed a particular song and had the mariachi sing it just for me-THANKS NICOLE. Again Nicole and Allen, thank you for the privilege of photographing one of the most important days of your life. I know now that I have forever found friends in the both of you and look forward to seeing Nicole sing with her mariachi group. God bless you both.
